Join EFG's Publisher Operations team as a Full Stack Developer on a fixed-term contract for 12 months. You will play a key role in developing new tools and technology to support competitive events across multiple titles, formats, and partners. Your responsibilities will include designing, developing, and maintaining core application features, contributing to the architecture and technical direction of the new application, and collaborating with stakeholders to deliver effective solutions. Missions
- Design, develop, and maintain core application features, contributing to the architecture and technical direction of the new application.
- Build and deliver full-stack functionality using React/Next.js and Node.js/TypeScript, taking ownership of features from concept through to deployment.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across technical and non-technical teams to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.
Profil recherché
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with both technical and non-technical stakeholders- Experience designing, building, and integrating RESTful APIs or similar services
- A solid understanding of modern web application architecture and design principles
- A commitment to writing clean, maintainable and well-documented code
- Strong knowledge of React and/or Next.js for front-end development
- Experience working effectively within a collaborative, agile environment
- Experience taking ownership of features and delivering them end-to-end, from requirements through to deployment
- Comfortable working autonomously and making sound technical decisions with limited oversight
- Commercial experience developing back-end services using Node.js and TypeScript
- Proficiency working with both SQL and NoSQL databases
- 5+ years of commercial experience in a full stack software development role, with exposure to both front-end and back-end technologies
- Demonstrable experience building systems from the ground up, with at least one example that you can discuss in detail
- A pragmatic, delivery-focused approach to problem solving, with the ability to balance technical excellence against business needs
- Experience working with AWS and cloud-native services
- Familiarity with agile development practices and methodologies, including Scrum, CI/CD, and DevOps principles
- Knowledge of modern testing practices and frameworks
- An understanding of competitive gaming, esports ecosystems, and tournament formats
- An eye for usability and user experience, with the ability to identify opportunities to improve workflows and interface design
