Background
Fairground empowers any person to make a career cold calling for the hundreds of thousands of companies who want to generate more leads but don’t have the talent to do so. Fairground handles almost everything for the rep - leads, dialing, coaching, follow-ups - so they can focus on the one thing AI can’t replace: a human speaking to a human.
Many multi-billion dollar companies have been built around labor marketplaces: Uber ($160B market cap), Upwork ($800M annual revenue), and Toptal ($400M annual revenue) to name a few. For the first time ever, with LLMs, it’s now possible to build a similar platform focused on sales reps. Fairground makes outbound reps on our marketplace 2x - 5x more efficient, spending 100% of their time cold calling instead of on prospecting, CRM entry, or follow-ups. Fairground also manages these reps at infinitely greater scale, using AI to screen, train, and monitor them.
Paraform - who recently raised $65M - has proven rapid growth with a similar use case focused on independent recruiters & recruiting agencies (instead of reps and cold calling agencies).
Account Executive Role
We’re looking for an absolute killer to join our GTM team at Fairground.
Our product is selling like hot cakes. Demand is high enough that new customer onboardings are getting scheduled four weeks out. You won’t spend your days convincing buyers they have a problem. They already know they need more pipeline into local businesses. Your job is to get them signed and crush our pilots.
What You’ll Do
Own deals end to end, from first call to signed order form, with mid-market companies that sell to SMBs
Run a packed calendar of discovery calls and demos every week, and close $100K+ deals on short cycles
Work directly with the cofounders on pricing, packaging, and the verticals we go after next
Bring what you hear on calls back to the team. The objections you run into this quarter shape how we sell next year
What We’re Looking For
Closer DNA: You’ve carried a mid-market or enterprise quota and beaten it. You know how to run a tight deal cycle
Speed: When a buyer is ready, you move that day. Proposals go out the same afternoon, not next week
Comfort without a playbook: You’ll help write the sales playbook as we scale. You won’t be handed one
