How you’llmake an impact

Leverage your expertisein project finance, infrastructure finance, structured finance, private credit, investment banking, project developmentor commercial lending to originate, structure, negotiate and manage complex project finance transactions focused on Canadian agri-food processing, manufacturingand production projects.

As a Director, Project Finance, you’lllead project finance opportunities from initialprospecting through closing while managing key relationships with sponsors, developers, investors, lenders, advisorsand industry stakeholders. Your strong transaction structuringand negotiation expertisewill enable you to lead due diligence, pricing, approvalsand execution activities while coordinating internal and external stakeholders.

What you’lldo

• Originate and lead project finance opportunities from initialprospecting through closing

• Play a leading role in establishingand growing a new team and capital deployment capability

• Develop relationships with project sponsors, developers, investors, lenders, advisorsand industry stakeholders

• Lead due diligence, transaction structuring, pricingand negotiation activities

• Sponsor and present credit recommendations through approval processes

• Oversee transaction execution and coordinate internal and external stakeholders

• Manage and grow a portfolio of project financeloan facilities

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to analysts and lending teams

• Contribute to underwriting standards, market strategyand capability development

What you’llbring to the team

Required qualifications:

• A bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, accounting, commerceor a related subject

• Minimum 10 years of experience in project finance, infrastructure finance, structured finance, private credit, investment banking, project developmentor complex commercial lending(or an equivalent combination of education and experience)

• Extensive knowledge of project finance, infrastructure finance, credit riskand portfolio oversight

• Proven expertisein transaction structuring, syndicationsand negotiations

• Demonstrated proficiencyin stakeholder management and complex transaction execution

Preferred qualifications:

• MBA, CFAor advanced finance qualification

• Bilingualism (French and English) is an asset
