  • Monitor vehicle performance and assist in the identification of minor mechanical issues, escalating concerns to management and maintenance providers as required.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date vehicle logbooks, journey records, fuel records, mileage reports, and other transport-related documentation in line with audit and compliance requirements.
  • Plan routes effectively, taking into account traffic conditions, security considerations, and operational requirements to ensure timely arrivals and departures.
  • Provide assistance to passengers at airports, including support with customs procedures, luggage handling, and arrival and departure arrangements where required.
  • Support official VIP visits, ministerial delegations, and high-profile events by providing professional, secure, and discreet transportation services.
  • Maintain awareness of security protocols and promptly report any incidents, accidents, security concerns, or unusual circumstances through the appropriate channels.
  • Support transportation requirements for internal and external events, meetings, conferences, and official functions organised by the Embassy.
  • Travel throughout Egypt as required and during crisis times to support Embassy operations and maintain operational readiness across all locations.
  • Work on a shift basis, including weekends, public holidays, and outside normal working hours, and undertake overtime when operationally required.
  • Support the delivery of Embassy transport services during periods of increased operational demand, staff absences, or emergency situations.
  • Participate in crisis preparedness activities, emergency response operations, business continuity planning, and crisis management exercises as required.
  • Assist in maintaining transport readiness during emergencies, ensuring vehicles and records remain operational and available at short notice.
  • Act as a backup Messenger when required, providing support for official Messenger duties and responsibilities.
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with Embassy staff, visitors, suppliers, government officials, and external stakeholders.
  • Comply with all Embassy policies relating to security, health and safety, safeguarding, confidentiality, information management, and data protection.
