Direct Sales Agent

Role Description

• The Direct Sales Agent role is a full-time, on-site position based in Ibadan.
• The individual in this role will actively prospect and engage potential customers, present FCMB Group’s products and services, and drive customer acquisition through direct interactions in assigned markets or locations.
• Daily responsibilities include explaining product features and benefits, assisting customers with account opening and documentation, and following up on leads to convert interest into sales.
• The Direct Sales Agent will maintain accurate records of customer interactions, prepare basic sales reports, and provide feedback on market trends and customer needs to the sales team.
• This role also involves delivering consistent, professional customer service and adhering to all compliance, risk management, and ethical sales standards.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Interpersonal Skills to build trust, maintain relationships, and collaborate effectively with team members and customers.
• Candidates should possess excellent Communication abilities, including clear verbal and written communication and confident product presentation skills.
• Candidates should possess solid Customer Service capabilities to respond promptly to inquiries, resolve basic issues, and ensure a positive customer experience.
• Candidates should possess fundamental Finance and Sales skills to understand financial products, explain key features, and meet or exceed sales targets.
• Additional beneficial qualifications include prior experience in retail or financial services sales, familiarity with banking products, goal-oriented work habits, and proficiency with basic digital tools e.g., mobile apps, spreadsheets.
• A minimum of a secondary school certificate; a diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field is an advantage.
• Ability to work in the field within Ibadan, manage time effectively, and uphold high ethical and professional standards.
