Percentage Job Functions 50% Internship Program - (12 Weeks) Learn approach to assessing creditworthiness of borrowers Learn approach to economic analysis and forecasting Learn impact of macro-economic events on lending and risk management Learn the components of the lending process Learn credit fundamentals and credit philosophy 20% Projects Complete one or more projects identified by FCS that are hands-on in nature and designed to add value to the credit services team and the Association. Presentations to the Board of Directors, senior leadership, mentors and other staff will be conducted towards the end of the internship. 20% Communication Work with several mentors within Credit Leadership of the Association. Collaborate with FCS staff as an active team member. 10% Marketing Learn about customer relationships and marketing and contribute to FCS image as the leading agriculture financial institution committed to customers. n/a Other duties as assigned to meet the needs of the organization. * Essential Functions for this position consist of all items listed under any category that make up 5% or more of the job duties.
