Maintenance Supervisor – Day Shift

Hello, I’m Anthony Chacon, Recruitment Advisor at FED ManuTech, specializing in engineering, technical and manufacturing positions. I’m currently recruiting a Maintenance Supervisor for a growing food manufacturing company. In this hands-on leadership role, you will coordinate maintenance activities, lead the maintenance team and work closely with production to ensure equipment reliability.

Responsibilities

Your Role : Plan and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities; Prioritize interventions based on production needs; Lead, coach and support the maintenance team; Manage schedules and employee absences; Monitor maintenance KPIs related to breakdowns, downtime and interventions; Coordinate maintenance activities with production and other departments; Ensure the availability of parts and technical resources; Participate in quality, health & safety and food safety audits; Ensure compliance with applicable safety, quality and food safety standards; Support the follow-up of non-conformities; Investigate recurring breakdowns and contribute to corrective actions; Participate in continuous improvement initiatives. Working Conditions : Permanent, full-time position Day shift: Monday to Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Group insurance benefits; Retirement plan with employer contribution; Paid vacation; Employee Assistance Program; On-site parking; Casual work environment; Position located in the West Island of Montreal.

Qualifications

DEC in Mechanical Maintenance, Industrial Maintenance, Electromechanics or equivalent experience; 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position; Maintenance supervision experience in a manufacturing environment; Food manufacturing experience is an asset; Strong French and functional English; Class C electrical license is an asset; Knowledge of Microsoft Office; CMMS experience is an asset; Strong hands-on leadership, autonomy and communication skills.

Experience
