Discovery Co-operative is hiring a Full-Time Baker in our Bakery Department for our Territorial Mall located in North Battleford, SK.

What you’ll do:
- Provide an exceptional level of customer service.
- Maintain a safe and efficient operation while adhering to all Discovery Co-op, industry, and governmental policies, procedures, and standards, including meeting established productivity standards.
- Be responsible for the production of goods in a scratch-to-finish bakery including ordering, receiving, measuring, baking, decorating, displaying, and pricing.
- May update and train all existing and new team members on proper techniques, new items, and ensuring correct procedures are followed.
- Perform general housekeeping duties, assisting team members when necessary, and any other duties as assigned.

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Retail and:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be available to work evenings, nights and weekends.
- Grade 12 is required.
- Postgraduate degree/diploma in baking from a recognized post secondary institute
- Journeyperson Baker
- 2+ years of bakery experience
- Co-operative retail experience is an asset
- Cake decorating experience is an asset
- Safe Food Handling Certificate is required
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time, have good manual dexterity and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
A combination of relevant education and experience may be considered.
