Ferguson is currently seeking a Configuration Analyst to join our team! As a Configuration Analyst, you will ensure the efficient warehouse management system operation for our Waterloo Distribution Center.
Daily responsibilities include system configuration and supporting process improvement, tactical efforts, and critical initiatives by monitoring, reviewing, and updating the WMS system to improve efficiency. The role maintains accuracy of data published in our systems leading to a more productive and efficient distribution center. General areas of responsibility include data management for the WMS system, Labor management system reconciliation, Publishing Performance Reports, Building Zoning & Slotting Assignments, and support projects as needed.
Responsibilities:
Identify and resolve basic configuration issues to ensure safe and efficient storage of items Maintains the individual WMS slotting parameters and generates slotting reports on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
Inserts / update WMS data based on slotting output using SQL.
Ensures unit, case and pallet data is being collected timely and correctly
Works with DC management to ensure re-slotting and DC profiling moves are carried out to optimize product flow through the DC
Publishes reports and communicates key performance indicators and continuous improvement opportunities
Performs labor management system administration data reconciliation on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
Supports the development of labor standards in conjunction with the regional senior Industrial Engineer
Participates in associate meetings and communicates any concerns to management
Actively participates and engages with associates on the operational floor to solicit concerns or answer questions
Support Process improvement/LEAN activities in the DC
Qualifications:
2-5 years experience configuring and managing warehouse management systems, required
Prior experience with HighJump , strongly preferred
Knowledge of SQL, ability to create, use, and analyze output of data
Prior experience with Toad, preferred
Strong proficiency with computer and software programs, including all Microsoft Applications, required
Intermediate to advance proficiency with MS Excel, including pivot tables, macros, and v-lookups, required
Experience using large scale data systems (PowerBI, Minitab, etc.)
Prior experience with EZ Metrics, preferred
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including troubleshooting system problems and submit corrections
Solid interpersonal skills and ability to lead training sessions, both remote and in-person
Project management skills
Bachelors degree in supply chain, IT, or related field of study, preferred but not required

Pay Range:

$3,420.00 - $7,401.90-
Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
