Blue Rhino, a Ferrellgas company is searching for a Maintenance Technician to join the team. Under manager supervision the Maintenance Technician I is responsible for a wide range of daily duties including inspection, maintenance, and repair of facility equipment and systems and documentation of such tasks; all while maintaining safety, productivity and financial responsibility. Typically requires a high school diploma and one year electrical/automation experience in a manufacturing environment.
Schedule: M-F 6:00am - 3:00pm
Pay: $25.00 hourly

Responsibilities
- Ensures daily plant and equipment inspections are conducted and documented appropriately.
- Assists in developing preventive maintenance schedules for all equipment, and ensures schedules are adhered to and documented.
- Monitors equipment for unusual sounds to detect malfunction.
- Troubleshoots and repairs mechanical and electrical issues.
- Assists in maintaining spare parts inventory.
- Dismantles defective equipment and installs new or repaired parts.
- Provides technical information and operational guidance to production employees.
- Follows safety rules & procedures including OSHA standards and the Company Process Safety Management program.
- Performs and records periodic testing.
- Maintains a clear sense of priority and focus in support of team performance.
- Identifies improvements in the process’s equipment.
- Assists leadership with problem resolution and correction of equipment deficiencies.
- Constantly considers long term upgrades / repairs.
- Additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Technical training / technical degree a plus.
- 1+ years of maintenance / mechanical experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Basic computer skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word and Excel.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Strong time-management and organizational skills with the ability to effectively multi-task.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Demonstrated track record of being a reliable and dependable worker.
- Flexible (hours/shifts).
- Mandatory overtime when necessary.
Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States
