Junior Network Support Engineer

Main tasks

• Execute routine operational tasks to ensure the stability and reliability of the global network infrastructure
• Act as the first line of support for day-to-day network activities and incidents
• Assist senior engineers in troubleshooting and problem resolution
• Follow documented procedures, runbooks, and predefined workflows to resolve standard incidents
• Escalate non-standard issues according to established processes
• Maintain accurate records of network configurations, operational activities, and incident history
• Perform proactive monitoring activities and contribute to maintaining service continuity
• Ensure strict adherence to operational procedures and best practices

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in network support or operations
• Junior-level profile with a procedural and guided approach to incident management
• Ability to perform guided troubleshooting using runbooks and documented workflows
• Experience handling standard incidents and escalating issues outside defined procedures
• Strong operational discipline and attention to detail
• Experience maintaining accurate operational and incident records
• Proactive mindset and commitment to following established processes

Required Certifications (or equivalent)

• CompTIA Network+
• Cisco Certified Technician (CCT)
• ITIL Foundation

Nice to have

• Experience supporting global network environments
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools and ticketing systems
• Exposure to enterprise operational support processes and service management practices
