Main tasks

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend software solutions.
  • Develop applications and services using C#, .NET, Java, and Go.
  • Design and implement robust software architectures following engineering best practices.
  • Develop and integrate cloud-native solutions using AWS and/or Azure.
  • Work with Docker and Kubernetes in containerized environments.
  • Develop and maintain solutions using both relational and NoSQL databases.
  • Work with technologies such as Aurora, DynamoDB, and Redis.
  • Implement automated testing strategies to ensure software quality and reliability.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex backend and production issues.
  • Use AI Coding Assistants, such as Claude and GitHub Copilot, across development, testing, debugging, and code optimization.
  • Apply prompt engineering techniques to improve the effectiveness of AI-assisted development.
  • Participate in an on-call 24x7 rotation to ensure service availability and operational continuity.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of professional experience in software/backend development.
  • Strong hands-on experience with C#/.NET, Java, and Go.
  • Practical experience with AWS and/or Azure.
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, particularly Aurora, DynamoDB, and Redis.
  • Strong understanding of software architecture and software engineering principles.
  • Experience implementing and maintaining automated tests.
  • Strong troubleshooting and debugging capabilities.
  • Practical experience using AI Coding Assistants, such as Claude, GitHub Copilot, or similar tools.
  • Experience with prompt engineering and AI-assisted development, testing, and debugging.
  • Fluent English.

Nice to have

  • Experience designing cloud-native and distributed systems.
  • Experience with highly available and production-critical backend environments.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with observability, monitoring, and incident management.
  • Experience optimizing application performance and cloud resource consumption.
  • Experience implementing AI-assisted development workflows at team or enterprise level.
