Senior Fullstack Developer

We are looking for a Senior Fullstack Developer to join us on our mission at a full-time position. As a part of StepOut, you will be given an open opportunity to freely use your technical expertise to further develop the tool and serve its purpose in the best way possible.

We are looking for a Senior Fullstack Developer who:has a study background in Information Technology
is capable of interacting with product managers and stakeholders to gather requirements in order to deliver exactly what is needed
Your key responsibility will be to get together with our team to further develop our Web App and contribute to the overall development of our product.


The candidate must possess knowledge and experience in most if not all of the following development tools:Minimum 2+ years experience in full-stack engineering (preferably in Node & React)
NodeJS, Express, Mongodb, MySQL
Expertise in building REST APIs (Swagger) / GraphQL.
Stripe / Payment Gateways
CMS- Content Management System
HTML / CSS / Javascript / React for Frontend Development
Experience in AWS/Azure/Other Clouds
Experience in developing applications having Event driven design, Microservices, Docker Containerisation, Kubernetes, Scalable applications.
Understanding of distributed systems (e.g. Kafka, MQTT, OAuth 2.0).
PHP (in Laravel PHP or CakePHP) / Codeigniter MVC Platform
Git, DevOps, Cpanel
You must have fluent English communication and writing skills
be quality and detail-oriented
have problem-solving skills
have a positive attitude towards challenges



Key responsibilities:Design, develop and maintain modules and services.
Understand the business needs, data(schema) & backend design along with it functional UI implementation and integration.
Write high-quality, well-documented and testable code.
Backend development preferably in Node, MongoDB, TypeScript, RESTful web services, Docker, Kubernetes.
Help design performant and clean APIs for our PHP/MySQL based BE services and movement towards high scalable Node/MongoDB based containerisation over Kubernetes architecture.
Collaboration with other team members to work in coherence
