FIS

FIS is an American financial technology company founded in 1968 that supplies the core processing, payments and treasury software banks and corporations run their operations on. Its banking solutions business covers deposit and loan cores, digital channels and card issuing for thousands of financial institutions, while its capital markets business sells trading, treasury, lending and risk software to banks, asset managers and corporate finance departments. Headquartered in Jacksonville and listed on the New York Stock Exchange, it sold most of its Worldpay merchant business in 2023 to refocus on the software it sells to financial institutions rather than merchant acquiring.

  • Strong organization, communication and follow-up skills, with the ability to help managers find and use HR tools and support channels.
  • Good judgment and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and escalate issues when needed.
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to prepare simple updates, notes and follow-up messages.
  • Comfort using HR systems, workforce planning tools, dashboards and reports to support HR process delivery.
  • Ability to work well with HR teams, People Services, Finance, Workforce Management and business managers.
