Job Description
About the role
As the Senior Manager of Client Growth, you’ll lead a team responsible for two distinct but complementary workstreams: managing our portfolio of legacy large financial institution (LFI) bank platform projects and growing our portfolio of new LFI engagements on our A3 SaaS platform.
Your team delivers both high-volume, smaller T&M customer change requests on a daily basis and highly complex, multi-month or multi-year implementations for large financial institutions. You’ll bring a strong program management background to mentor your consultants on best practices for managing large, multi-workstream engagements-while also coaching those working on technical requirements translation and delivery coordination.
You’ll need to be equally comfortable guiding a consultant through a complex integration requirement as you are leading a program review with a bank’s executive team. As a people leader, you’ll develop and grow your implementation consultants, balancing the competing demands of daily T&M delivery with the strategic planning required for large engagements. You’ll set clear expectations, provide regular coaching, and build a team culture that values both technical rigor and exceptional client service.
What We'll Trust You to Deliver
- Legacy LFI Portfolio Management: Oversee the delivery of T&M change requests and projects for our large legacy bank platform clients, ensuring a high volume of smaller engagements are delivered efficiently and to customer expectations on a daily basis.
- New LFI A3 Engagement Leadership: Lead and grow our portfolio of complex, multi-month and multi-year implementations for large financial institutions on the A3 SaaS platform, ensuring strategic engagements are delivered with program-level rigor.
- Program Management Excellence: Mentor and coach consultants on program management best practices for large, multi-workstream engagements - including stakeholder management, risk mitigation, dependency tracking, and executive communication.
- Technical Delivery Guidance: Coach and guide consultants working on technical requirements translation, ensuring customer needs are accurately captured, communicated to development and QA teams, and delivered to specification.
- Team Leadership & Development: Manage, coach, and develop a team of implementation consultants across both legacy and new platform workstreams - setting clear expectations, providing regular feedback, and fostering professional growth.
- Resource Balancing: Allocate team capacity across competing demands of daily T&M delivery and long-duration strategic projects, ensuring neither workstream suffers from under-resourcing.
- Customer Relationship Management: Serve as the senior escalation point for LFI customers, maintaining strong executive-level relationships and stepping in to resolve concerns when engagements encounter challenges.
- Revenue & Budget Oversight: Track T&M hours, project budgets, and LOEs across the growth portfolio, ensuring work is delivered within scope and revenue is captured accurately.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: 8+ years in professional services, program management, or implementation delivery roles within financial technology or enterprise SaaS, with at least 3 years in a people leadership capacity.
- Program Management Background: Strong foundation in program management methodologies and best practices, with proven experience leading complex, multi-workstream engagements for large enterprise or financial institution clients.
- Technical & Software Expertise: Demonstrated experience working with software development teams, translating customer requirements into technical specifications, and understanding integration architectures and delivery workflows.
- Dual-Mode Delivery: Proven ability to manage teams that operate in both high-volume, fast-turnaround delivery (T&M change requests) and long-duration, strategic program delivery simultaneously.
- People Leadership: Demonstrated ability to coach, develop, and hold accountable a team of consultants with varying experience levels - including performance management, career development, and mentoring on program management skills.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Proven ability to work across organizational boundaries with development, QA, product, and partner teams to coordinate delivery and remove blockers.
- Customer-Facing Executive Presence: Strong ability to manage relationships with senior banking executives, navigate escalations, and maintain trust through complex, long-running engagements.
- Financial Services Knowledge: Deep understanding of banking operations, account origination, lending workflows, or similar financial products - ideally with experience serving large financial institutions.
- Professional Services Business Acumen: Experience managing T&M budgets, LOEs, and revenue recognition in a professional services context.
Team: Will lead a team of 5-7 implementation consultants focused on legacy LFI platform support and new A3 LFI engagements.
Reporting: Reports Director of Implementations.
Similar job titles: Professional Services Manager, Program Delivery Manager, Client Engagement Manager, PS Team Lead.
Bonus: Eligible for annual performance bonuses as part of our commitment to shared success.
