About The Team

As a Senior Full Stack Java Developer, you will join a high-performing engineering team delivering innovative Supply Chain Finance solutions that enhance FIS’s financial services platform. You will play a key role in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining scalable enterprise applications while collaborating closely with product, architecture, and engineering teams. Success in this role requires strong full-stack development expertise, a passion for software craftsmanship, and the ability to deliver secure, high-quality solutions in an agile environment. You will contribute throughout the software development lifecycle, from requirements refinement to deployment and continuous improvement.

What You Will Be Doing

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using Core Java, Spring, Spring Boot, JPA, and Hibernate.
• Build scalable microservices and RESTful APIs that support business-critical financial workflows.
• Implement secure authentication and authorization solutions using OAuth 2.0, JWT, and Spring Security.
• Create comprehensive unit and integration tests using JUnit and Mockito to ensure application reliability.
• Apply SOLID principles, design patterns, and test-driven development practices to deliver maintainable code.
• Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, architects, and engineers to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Optimize application performance and troubleshoot complex technical issues across distributed systems.
• Participate in backlog grooming, sprint planning, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop database-driven solutions utilizing SQL and PL/SQL for efficient data management and integration.
• Support containerized application deployments using Docker and contribute to modern DevOps practices.

What you will bring

• 6 to 9 years of professional software development experience with Java-based enterprise applications.
• Strong hands-on experience with Core Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, JPA, Hibernate, and Microservices Architecture.
• Experience developing and consuming RESTful web services and APIs.
• Proficiency in unit and integration testing using JUnit, Mockito, and automated testing frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of application security practices, including OAuth 2.0, JWT, and Spring Security.
• Experience with Maven, Docker, SQL/PLSQL, and messaging technologies such as ActiveMQ or similar platforms.
• Solid understanding of software engineering best practices, including SOLID principles, design patterns, and test-driven development.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a skills-based equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within Agile software delivery environments.
• Knowledge of Azure cloud services and cloud-native application development.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Helm Charts, and container orchestration technologies.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and source control platforms including GitHub.
• Understanding identity and access management technologies including Keycloak, SSO, API Keys, and Multi-Factor Authentication.
• Experience with Angular framework and modern front-end development practices.
