What does a successfulData Centre Services Engineerdo at Fiserv?

Join our growing APAC Data Centre team as a Data Centre Services Engineer supporting our primary Sydney facilities and additional national sites. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who loves working in mission-critical environments and wants to be part of a high-performing global operations team.

What you will do:

• Install, relocate, and maintain IT hardware and structured cabling

• Perform copper & fibre cabling, labelling, documentation, and DCIM updates

• Support daily operations, vendor management, and facility access

• Assist with DR tests, UPS/black-building tests, and infrastructure upgrades

• Maintain clean, safe, and compliant data-centre environments

• Provide first-line hardware support and coordinate vendor repairs

• Produce weekly/monthly utilisation and capacity reports

What you will need to have:

• Experience in data-centre operations or mission-critical environments

• Strong structured-cabling skills (Cat5e/Cat6, OM3/OM4/OS2)

• Ability to read network diagrams and rack elevations

• Confident communicator with excellent written English

• Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and lifting 20-25 kg

• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, organised work style

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks

• Willingness to travel within Sydney and occasionally interstate
