EQUIPMENT INSTALL TECHNICIAN/DRIVER
Who is an Equipment Install Technician?
The Equipment Install Technician/Driver role is responsible for all aspects of fitness equipment installation/deliveries in both construction and existing Club environments. Specializing in fitness equipment set up and configuration, this role works to ensure the highest function of all aspects of both member-facing and associate areas. This role is also responsible for reporting on work progress and completion while communicating with stakeholders across the Club Services and Construction and Design Departments.
What will you be doing?
- Performs installation, fit-up and mounting of fitness equipment:
- Assembles various types of functional fitness equipment as directed by National Manager of Club Installations
- Prioritizes work according to construction schedules, department mandates, and plan schedule for Club visits to maximize efficiency
- Supports specialist teams (Audio Visual Installation) as required to help execute on larger projects
- Driving/Deliveries:
- Operates company leased or rented delivery trucks in a safe and responsible manner in order to deliver supplies and equipment to/from various club locations and warehouse
- Plans routes and schedules in advance of deliveries in order to reduce driving time, and to support continuity of work at each location
- Assists the team with unloading equipment upon arrival to site
- Reports on work progress and completion:
- Applies service notes and costs, plus status updates to individual work orders for visibility across departments
- Orders parts and materials via our Purchasing Team as well as through local and national vendors
- Recognizes where extra support is needed to manage total workload, and communicate with Supervisor to supplement with extra resources where required
- Communicates with stakeholders within our department, and across the Company, to maintain a clear understanding of progress
- Initiates updates with Club General Managers and support staff so they have a clear picture of outstanding issues
- Works directly with AV Install Supervisor, Senior AV Supervisor and Purchasers to document any needs or support required
- Practices safe working habits at all times
- Follows all health & safety best practices when carrying out service and maintenance
- Obeys all traffic laws and practice safe and professional driving habits in company vehicles
Do you have what it takes?
- High school diploma
- 2+ Years working with fitness equipment or assembly work an asset
- 2+ Years operating delivery vehicles
- DZ Driver’s license

Compensation:
It is expected that the selected candidate will start at a base wage of $25.13. The annual range of expected compensation for the position is $52,200 - $77,900 determined by the expected total number of scheduled hours per year, performance and time in position.This job posting is for an existing vacancy.
