Mobile Phone Repair Technician
Operating since 2016, fix2U is Australia’s only nationwide on-demand phone and tablet repair service that travels to the customers’ location and performs a repair on the spot.
fix2U is currently undergoing a period of rapid expansion as a result of securing a multi-year contract providing screen repairs for Telstra, and we have an urgent requirement to hire additional skilled repair technicians to meet the demands of the contract.
This role is for a reliable, experienced mobile phone repair technician based in our Gladesville repair centre. You will be performing repairs for the very latest phones and tablets across all device manufacturers including Apple, Samsung, Google and more.
Job responsibilities
- Perform screen replacements and other types of repairs on devices that have been mailed into our repair centre.
- Use market-leading software tools to perform automated pre and post repair testing.
- As we are not a retail outlet, you will be able to focus 100% of your time on device repair activities - no need to greet customers, sell accessories, or be involved with ordering stock etc.
About you
- 3+ years experience as a professional phone repair technician.
- Familiarity with repairing a variety of devices.
- Reliability & proven capacity to plan, multi-task & prioritise effectively.
- A true people person & team player with a sense of fun, and a customer-centric work ethos (if wanting to explore additional work opportunities).
- Excellent communication skills.
- Positive, solution-focused & innovative.
- Capacity to provide references.
What’s on offer
- Initially part-time, Mon-Fri, 10.30am to 1.30pm.
- $29.50 per hour.
