Electrician (M&E East)

We’re looking for a skilled Electrician to join our team, delivering high-quality repairs and maintenance across our housing properties. You’ll play a key role in ensuring homes are safe, functional, and maintained to a high standard.

Working across both occupied and void properties, you’ll carry out a variety of electrical tasks while supporting colleagues and other trades when needed.

Location: Norwich (Base) - covering East Angliaincluding Norwich, Ipswich, Colchester, Kings Lynn

Hours: Full Time - 40 hpw - Monday - Friday 08:00-17:00

Contract: Permanent + Van

What You'll Be Doing

• carry out a range of electrical repairs and maintenance work across properties

• diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently and effectively

• ensure all work is completed to a high standard, right first time

• work on both occupied and void homes

• support other trades and colleagues when required

• use tools and systems to manage and complete jobs effectively

• respond appropriately to safeguarding and emergency situations

• participate in the on-call rota, including evenings and public holidays

What You'll Bring

• 18th Edition qualification and current ECS card

• experience in electrical maintenance within housing or construction

• strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

• good knowledge of general building and construction

• excellent customer service and communication skills

• flexibility to meet customer needs, including occasional overtime

• IT literacy (e.g. Outlook, Teams, digital job systems)

• full UK driving licence

Desirable:

• 2391 Testing & Inspection or equivalent
