Job Summary

Job Responsibilities

• Proficiently use 3ds Max to independently create 3D models of factories, workshops, warehouses, production lines, fixtures, and equipment based on CAD layout drawings. Build comprehensive factory layout visualization scenes and produce layout renderings and presentation animations to support factory planning and production line improvement projects.
• Perform UV mapping, texturing, lighting setup, and rendering. Optimize models for digital twin applications through model simplification and asset standardization. Export model files compatible with simulation and visualization platforms such as FlexSim and Unity to ensure stable real-time scene performance.
• Collaborate with Industrial Engineering (IE) teams to iteratively update workshop layouts, quickly modify 3D scenes, and create layout comparison visualizations. Establish and maintain a 3D asset library for factory equipment and facilities.
• Support digital twin projects by integrating visualization scenes and creating basic equipment and production line demonstration animations that accurately represent production and material flow processes.
• Manage and maintain 3D project files in accordance with established standards, ensuring proper version control and archival.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or above in Digital Media, Industrial Design, Animation, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in industrial scene modeling using 3ds Max, with proven experience delivering factory or workshop visualization projects. Portfolio submission is required.
• Proficient in the full suite of 3ds Max modeling tools and familiar with AutoCAD. Ability to accurately transform 2D drawings into 3D environments while maintaining precise dimensions and scale. Experience with V-Ray or Corona Renderer is preferred; working knowledge of Arnold Renderer is a plus.
• Skilled in model optimization, polygon reduction, and LOD (Level of Detail) processing. Familiar with exporting common file formats such as FBX and resolving cross-platform compatibility issues. Knowledge of PBR (Physically Based Rendering) materials is required. Familiarity with asset import standards for Unity and FlexSim is preferred.
• Capable of independently producing scene animations, including production line and logistics flow demonstrations. Strong communication skills, proactive work style, and ability to deliver projects on schedule.
• Experience with SketchUp is preferred. Candidates with experience collaborating on FlexSim projects, participating in Digital Twin initiatives, or possessing knowledge of factory logistics planning will be given priority consideration.
