Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add an Training Specialist located in Guadalajara, North Campus.

TheTraining Specialist is responsible for leading the development and execution of strategic training initiatives within a high-volume manufacturing environment. T

What a typical day looks like:

• Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of training strategies aligned with manufacturing and business objectives.
• Promote a culture of learning and operational excellence throughout the organization.
• Build partnerships with educational institutions and training providers to strengthen talent pipelines and technical capabilities.
• Contributes to needs investigation studies to define training opportunities within an organization.
• Confers with management to gain knowledge of specific work situations requiring employees to better recognize changes in policies, procedures, regulations, and technologies.
• Formulates teaching outline and define instructional methods such as unipersonal training, group instruction, lectures, demonstrations, conferences, meetings, and workshops.
• Selects or develops teaching aids such as training handbooks, demonstration models, multimedia visual aids, computer tutorials and reference works.
• Identifies or develops testing and evaluation procedures to be used at completion of training.
• Conducts training sessions covering specified areas such as new employee orientation, on-the-job training, use of computers and software, apprenticeship programs, customer service, sales techniques, health and safety practices, public relations, refresher training, promotional development, upgrading and business development.
• Evaluates participants to measure progress and to ascertain effectiveness of training.
• Reports on progress of employees under guidance during training periods.
• Revises design of training curriculum and methods to improve effectiveness

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• BA/BS in Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
• Experience in manufacturing operations, training, learning & development, or workforce development.
• Experience supporting Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) environments.
• Good communication skills and excellent relational skills.
• Demonstrates operations and technical skills and comprehension of Flex’s functional standards.
• Demonstrates working knowledge of functional concepts and a solid comprehension of Flex policies and procedures.
• Has awareness of the functional impact upon work processes and other functions.
