We're Hiring: HSE Supervisor (Commissioning & Project Close-Out)
Location: Penang, Malaysia
Project: Semiconductor Manufacturing Facility (FAB)
Duration: Contract Position
We are seeking an experienced HSE Supervisor to support the final construction, commissioning, startup, testing, and project close-out phases of a major semiconductor project.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct daily site safety inspections and audits
Lead toolbox talks and safety briefings
Monitor Permit-to-Work (PTW), Risk Assessments, and LOTO compliance
Provide HSE oversight during:
- Electrical energization
- HVAC & MEP commissioning
- Process tool installation and startup
- Chemical and specialty gas system commissioning
- Fire protection and life safety testing
Monitor contractor safety performance and enforce site requirements
Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions
Support emergency response drills and site readiness activities
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of HSE experience in industrial construction projects
Experience supporting commissioning and startup activities
Semiconductor, cleanroom, data center, pharmaceutical, or advanced manufacturing experience preferred
NEBOSH, OSHA, IOSH, or equivalent safety certification preferred
Strong knowledge of PTW, LOTO, work-at-height, confined space, lifting, and hot work requirements
