Flux Mobility bietet das breiteste Portfolio an leichten elektrischen Nutzfahrzeugen. Dabei ermöglichen wir den 1-zu-1 Ersatz von Diesel-Fahrzeugen.

Your role.

We are looking for an experienced Vehicle Systems & Quality Engineer to take technical ownership of product and process quality across our electric light commercial vehicles, from the parts our suppliers deliver, through our own assembly, to the vehicles in the field.

In this role, you make sure that what we design is what we build. You define the quality requirements for our parts and assemblies, qualify suppliers and their parts, set up the inspection and control plans for our assembly, and drive the systematic resolution of the issues that come out of them.

You also keep the system view. Our vehicles integrate mechanical, electrical and software systems on a base vehicle, so quality issues rarely sit inside a single discipline. You analyse them across subsystem boundaries, work with the responsible engineers on root cause, and make sure the fix lands in the design, in the documentation and in the process.

At Flux, you will work in a small team with short decision-making paths. This role is not administrative; it is technical. You will help build up our quality function and bring our vehicles to a robust series production standard.

What you can contribute.

    • Take technical ownership of product and process quality for our vehicles, from incoming parts through assembly to delivery.

    • Define quality requirements, inspection characteristics and acceptance criteria together with the engineering team.

    • Qualify suppliers and their parts: initial sample inspection (PPAP/ISIR), first-article inspection, process capability and supplier audits.

    • Set up and maintain control plans, process FMEAs, work instructions and end-of-line checks for our assembly.

    • Handle non-conformances, deviations and rework decisions, and keep the associated documentation traceable.

    • Drive 8D and corrective action processes with suppliers and internally, and follow actions through to verified effectiveness.

    • Support Conformity of Production with the required process and documentation evidence.

    • Analyse test, field and warranty data, identify failure patterns and feed them back into design and process.

    • Work with our production, engineering and field teams as well as with external suppliers and partners.

How you will succeed in this role.

    • Degree in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, mechatronics, production engineering or a comparable discipline.

    • At least 5 years of industry experience in quality engineering, ideally in automotive or a comparably regulated industry.

    • Practical experience with the core quality methods: APQP, PPAP, FMEA, control plans, 8D and structured root cause analysis.

    • Experience in supplier quality: qualification, audits and day-to-day escalation with suppliers.

    • Solid technical understanding of mechanical and electrical vehicle systems, and confidence in reading drawings, specifications and test reports.

    • Experience with measurement and inspection methods (GD&T, measurement technology, MSA) is an advantage.

    • Familiarity with IATF 16949 or ISO 9001 and with Conformity of Production requirements is an advantage.

    • Fluent German and good English.

    • Ability to take technical ownership and systematically improve complex systems.

    • Enjoy working across disciplines in a pragmatic, fast-moving team.

Your environment.

At Flux, we develop electric commercial vehicles in small, highly responsible teams. Our vehicles are already operating in the real world, on construction sites, in cities and in the daily operations of our customers.

That means decisions are made close to the product. Engineers take responsibility for their systems throughout the entire development cycle, from concept and testing through to issues seen in the field.

If you enjoy making complex products robust and repeatable, taking ownership and working in an environment where execution matters more than hierarchy, this role is a good fit for you.
