In this dynamic and highly visible role, you will lead the day-to-day delivery of our engineering teams using Agile methodologies, manage dependencies, risks, and issues, and help build a project management function that uses meaningful data to demonstrate project control. This is a fixed-term contract until March 2028, with a full-time commitment of 40 hours per week. Missions
- Lead day-to-day delivery across engineering teams using Agile methodologies, managing dependencies, risks, and issues.
- Build, mature, and provide program reporting and insight to the Head of Operations, using delivery data to demonstrate project control.
- Help build and mature the project management function, improving processes, governance, and reporting.
Profil recherché
- Recent hands-on experience of Agile delivery across more than one team- 5+ years' project management experience in an engineering or technical environment, ideally software. We welcome applicants with Operational, Commercial and Engineering backgrounds
- Formal training in delivery management methodologies e.g. PRINCE2, PMP, PMQ
- Experience in a project or programme function that used meaningful data to demonstrate project control, and in improving the processes and governance behind it
- Confident engaging senior executives, with the judgement to know when to challenge constructively, to hold a position and when to escalate
- Confident coordinating across teams and functions to keep work moving
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Able to work autonomously and pick up a live portfolio quickly
- Experience setting up, or being part of setting up, a programme management function
- Experience working in a start-up/ scale-up environment
- Exposure to commercial or customer-facing teams, such as aligning delivery with customer commitments
