About the team

The Advisory & Consulting Service Line is a rapidly growing, award winning and global group. You will be joining a teamat the forefront of large internationalinfrastructureprojects, global M&A transactions, high-profile forensic investigations, businessvaluations, corporaterestructuringand national creditor advisory services; all withthe aim of adding value to clientsby finding solutions to a wide range of financial issues.

OurAdvisory specialists help clientswithraising finance for large infrastructureprojects, advise on corporateacquisitions(both in the UK and cross border), restructure businessesto secure livelihoodsand act as experts on high profile internationalinvestigationsand disputes.

About the role

Your role in the National Cashieringand Treasury Managementteamwill be to supportthe Mazars' national RestructuringServices team.

OurRestructuringServices teamhelp and supportbusinessesand their stakeholders, providing advice to business owners and directors whether in respect of business underperformanceat the early stages of distress, all the way through to achieving the best outcome for creditors as part of a formal insolvencyprocess.

Working within a small and supportivenational Cashieringand Treasury Managementteam, based in Bristol, your key tasks will include:

  • Day to day managementof a significantnumber of estate bank accounts
  • Timely and accurate processingof requests from the RestructuringServices team
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Opening and closing of estate bank accounts
  • Processinginvoice payments electronicallyor by cheque, including accurate entry onto the InsolvencyPractitionerSoftware (“IPS”)
  • Processingdistributionsand generatingdividend payments
  • Checking accounts for receipts
  • Banking cheque receipts and recording on IPS
  • Processingelectronicreceipts onto IPS
  • Processingjournals/ adjustments through IPS
  • Accurate maintenance of the cashier records on IPS and within the e-file
  • GeneratingstatutoryR&P's when required
  • Liaisingwithvarious banks in a professionalmanner
  • Ensuring Cashier diary tasks are completed on time
  • Assisting withany other reasonablecashieringrequests when required
  • Promote estate accounting best practice withcolleagues
  • Follow the firm's Treasury Policy
  • Ensure compliance withClient Monies Rules

What we are looking for

  • Experience within a similar cashiering/ treasury managementrole or accounts payable/receivablesfunction is desirable. Previous Insolvencyexperience is beneficial, but on the job training will be provided.
  • Interpersonalskills; the abilityto build relationshipswitha foundation of trustand responsibility.
  • Analyticalskills; the abilityto think critically, research and solve problems.
  • Attention to detail and strong time-managementskills.
  • Commitmentto self-development& learning.
