About the team

The AccountingTechnicalServicesteamprovides specialist accountingand corporatereportingsupportto auditteamsand clientsacrossthe firm. Operating nationally, the teamfocuses on complexaccountingmatters under IFRS and UKGAAP and plays a key role in supportingauditqualityand consistency.

As an AccountingTechnicalServicesSenior Manager, you will leadthe deliveryof high-qualitytechnicalaccountingand corporatereportingsupportacrossIndustry & Services, witha particularfocus on large and listed accountingissues, working closely withauditteamsand clients.

About the role

• TechnicalAccountingLeadership - Leadand deliver high-qualityaccountingand corporatereportingtechnicalsupportacrossIndustry & Services, specialisingin complexaccountingareas including large and listed accountingunder IFRS and UKGAAP.
• TechnicalConsultations- Respond to and manage accountingand corporatereportingconsultationsfrom auditteams, providing clear, practical, and well-reasoned technicaladvice acrossa wide range of accountingissues.
• CorporateReportingQualityReview - Review financial statements for compliance, quality, and consistencywithIFRS, UKGAAP, including FRS 101 and FRS 102, and UKCompany Law, covering FTSE-listed entities, internationalgroups, and large UKprivate companies.
• TechnicalSupport- Provide tailored technicalaccountingsupportto key auditclients, including understandingcomplexfact patterns, researching applicablestandards, and delivering proportionateand commerciallyaware solutions.
• Industry & ServicesSpecialism- Act as a subject matter expert for Industry & Servicesrelated accountingand corporatereportingmatters, supportingauditteamson sector-specificchallenges.

What we are looking for

• ProfessionalQualification- ACA, ACCA, or equivalentprofessionalaccountingqualification.
• TechnicalAccountingExpertise - Strong practical and theoreticalknowledge of IFRS, UKGAAP, including FRS 101 and FRS 102, and UKCompany Law, withthe abilityto interpret and apply standards to complex, real-world scenarios.
• ConsultationExperience- Proven experienceevaluatingaccountingissues, analysingcomplexfact patterns, and delivering clear, high-qualitytechnicaladvice to auditteamsand auditclients.
• Listed & PIE Experience- Strong experienceworking withUKPIEs, listed entities, and large privately owned businesses.
• Quality& ProfessionalJudgement - Demonstratedcommitmentto high standards of professionalquality, accountingjudgement, and consistencyin corporatereporting.
