Role Purpose
The Physical Security Manager leads the development and day-to-day management of physical security across the company’s BPO sites. The role helps protect employees, visitors, facilities, equipment, and client assets while supporting a safe, welcoming, and business-ready workplace.The manager works with Operations, Facilities, Human Resources, IT, Legal, and client representatives to maintain effective security controls, respond to incidents, and meet applicable legal, regulatory, and contractual requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain site security policies, procedures, and standards.
- Oversee access-control processes for employees, contractors, visitors, and vendors.
- Manage security systems and services, such as access control, CCTV, alarms, security officers, and visitor management.
- Conduct site risk assessments and security reviews; coordinate and track agreed corrective actions.
- Lead or coordinate responses to security incidents, including documentation, escalation, investigation, and follow-up.Maintain incident records and provide regular reporting on trends, risks, and security performance.
- Work with Facilities and Operations to support emergency preparedness, business continuity, and site safety plans.Coordinate security requirements for new sites, office changes, client launches, and business expansions.
- Manage security vendors, service levels, budgets, and contract performance.
- Deliver security awareness guidance and role-specific training to employees and relevant partners.
- Coordinate with internal teams, clients, building management, and local authorities when required.
- Review security procedures periodically and update them following incidents, changes in risk, or new requirements.
- Protect confidential information and handle security-related records in line with company policies and applicable privacy requirements.
Qualifications and Responsibilities
Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Risk Management, Business Administration, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.[5+] years of experience in physical security, preferably in a multi-site, customer operations, BPO, or corporate environment.Experience managing security vendors, site access processes, incident response, and security systems.Experience working with client security requirements and cross-functional teams.Knowledge of applicable local security, health and safety, privacy, and employment requirements.Relevant security or risk-management certification is an advantage.
