HR Business Partner, Investments

We are partnering with a leading global investment management firm seeking a strategic, hands-on HR Business Partner (VP level) to support a sophisticated Investments client group.

This is a highly visible role for an HR professional who thrives both as a trusted advisor and execution-oriented business partner. Working closely with investment leaders, you will support key people initiatives across employees relations, performance management, compensation, talent management, organizational effectiveness, and workforce planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner directly with senior investment leaders on talent and people strategy
• Lead employee relations and performance management matters with a pragmatic, business-focused approach
• Drive annual compensation and talent review processes
• Support leadership development, succession planning, and organizational design initiatives
• Advise managers on employee engagement, retention, and team effectiveness
• Translate business priorities into actionable HR solutions

Required Experience

• 6-8 + years of progressive HRBP experience in relevant financial services settings
• Experience supporting investment professionals within Alternatives, Private Markets, Private Equity, Credit, Real Assets, Hedge Funds, or similar investment businesses
• Strong employee relations and performance management expertise
• Proven ability to operate strategically while remaining highly execution-focused
• Experience partnering with senior stakeholders in a fast-paced, high-performance environment
• Asset management or alternatives experience strongly preferred
