SAP COE Quote to Cash Basic TM Sr. Professional

The SAP COE Quote to Cash (Q2C) Basic TM Senior Professional is responsible for ensuring stable and efficient SAP Transportation Management (Basic TM) operations within the Quote to Cash logistics process. The role provides production support, issue resolution, and continuous improvement across transportation planning, execution, and integration with Sales & Distribution (SD) and Logistics Execution (LE), ensuring seamless order-to-delivery execution.

Tasks*

1) Main tasks:

Manage incidents, problems, and change requests related to SAP Transportation Management (Basic TM) within agreed SLAs. Support end-to-end Basic TM processes, including:

Freight Order creation

Transportation planning

Transportation execution

Shipment tracking

Freight billing

Analyze and resolve production issues related to:

SD-LE-TM integration

Delivery integration failures

Freight relevance issues

Transportation blocks and execution errors

Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring TM and logistics issues and implement corrective and preventive actions. Ensure smooth order-to-delivery and transportation execution flow across Q2C logistics processes.

2) Secondary Tasks:

Tasks regularly performed in support of primary responsibilities:

• Support minor system enhancements, including functional design input, unit testing, integration testing, and validation
• Participate in cutover, release, and deployment activities related to TM changes with minimal disruption to business operations.
• Provide ongoing support to global logistics business users, ensuring high service quality and operational continuity.

3) Miscellaneous tasks:

• Maintain and update process documentation, including SOPs, runbooks, and knowledge articles for Q2C Logistics and TM AMS support.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the SAP Q2C Logistics and TM landscape.
