Working at Freudenberg: We will wow your world!

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the senior finance leader and strategic business partner for the site, providing financial leadership, business insights, and recommendations that influence operational, commercial, and strategic decisions.
  • Own plant financial performance, including P&L results, profitability, margins, working capital, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning, while identifying risks, opportunities, and actions that improve business outcomes.
  • Lead manufacturing finance and cost controlling activities, including standard costing, inventory valuation, variance analysis, productivity measurement, KPI management, and cost-reduction initiatives that drive operational performance.
  • Develop and own financial and operational dashboards, analytics, and performance metrics that strengthen accountability and support data-driven decision making throughout the organization.
  • Partner closely with Operations, Sales, Supply Chain, Engineering, and leadership teams to support pricing, customer and product profitability, capital investments, make-versus-buy decisions, and long-term growth strategies.
  • Drive finance transformation through automation, Power BI, AI-enabled reporting, predictive analytics, and continuous improvement initiatives that improve efficiency, visibility, and business performance.
  • Demonstrate leadership potential by expanding influence, taking ownership beyond traditional finance responsibilities, and building experiences that prepare you for future Finance & Controlling leadership opportunities within the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with 5-7 years of progressive Finance, Accounting, or Controlling experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong expertise in manufacturing finance, including standard costing, inventory accounting, variance analysis, full absorption costing, financial planning, forecasting, and plant profitability management. Strong ERP experience required, with SAP experience preferred, combined with proficiency in Power BI or similar analytics tools.

  • Demonstrated record of delivering business results, taking ownership of outcomes, and successfully managing increasing levels of responsibility throughout your career.
  • Demonstrated learning agility, including examples of taking on unfamiliar challenges, expanding scope, adapting to changing business environments, and successfully translating new experiences into measurable results.
  • Proven leadership potential demonstrated through influencing stakeholders, leading strategic projects or business initiatives, exercising sound judgment, driving change, and operating beyond the expected scope of your current role, even without direct people leadership responsibility.
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking, commercial acumen, continuous improvement leadership, and a willingness to relocate for future development opportunities as part of a long-term Finance & Controlling career path.
