Senior Commissioning Coordinator - EXTO / Document Control

Location: Santa Clara, CA

Pay: $45-$65 per/hour, depending on experience

Schedule: Monday-Friday

Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Commissioning & Document Control Coordinator at FST Technical Services to support commissioning and operational-readiness activities for a semiconductor facility in Santa Clara. This is an office-based role focused on document control, commissioning coordination, project administration, and administration of EXTO, a commissioning and operational-readiness management platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain EXTO, including project data, documentation, checklists, action items, deficiencies, and status tracking.
  • Coordinate commissioning and operational-readiness deliverables and track items through completion.
  • Maintain accurate project records, documentation, and turnover/closeout packages.
  • Support commissioning teams, engineers, contractors, and project stakeholders with coordination and reporting.
  • Prepare trackers, status reports, meeting notes, and project updates.
  • Ensure project information is accurate, organized, and up to date.
Required Experience
  • Senior-level experience in document control, commissioning coordination, project administration, or technical project coordination.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong Microsoft 365 skills, particularly Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Experience in a construction, commissioning, engineering, facilities, or technical project environment.
  • Experience with at least one commissioning/operational-readiness platform such as Facility Grid, CxAlloy, CxPlanner, or similar.
Preferred
  • EXTO experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), or similar construction-management software.
  • Semiconductor, data center, construction, commissioning, or facilities experience.
  • Experience with project closeout, turnover, or operational readiness.
  • Local to Santa Clara, CA.
