1.Software Engineer – PDC Test Fixtures (Python, JS, Data Acquisition Tools, Communication protocols)

Job Summary:

The Software Engineer will be an integral part of the WMO (Worldwide Manufacturing

operations), Advanced Manufacturing Technology (AMT) team, responsible for the design &

development of Test fixture software comprising of Semi and fully Automated Test

Equipment’s (ATE’s). The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in

software development to develop customized Test Fixture software applications for

automated testing of modules and sub-assemblies (Example: DAQ controllers, motion

controls, heaters, and electromechanical, pneumatic & fluid devices) used in semiconductor

manufacturing equipment.

Job Responsibilities:

Design, develop, debug, and deploy software for functionality testing automated test

equipment. Identify requirements and propose creative and appropriate solutions to bolster

test automation.

Closely work with Project engineers, Project managers and stakeholders for timely

completion of projects. Maintain the software for source and version control and future

upgrades.

Manage and architect database systems for robust data logging, analysis, and reporting.

Assist in integrations, ensuring interoperability between various hardware and software

components. Conduct regular systems evaluations to ensure compliance with CTE safety

and quality standards.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to drive project completion and meet strategic

objectives. Provide technical support to operational teams, accepting knowledge transfer

and sharing BKMs.

Innovate and upskill in the latest developments in test automation, advocating for their

adoption, as needed.

Skills required:

Mandatory Skills:

Programming:

Python application development

Python based data acquisition scripting and GUI development using PyQt / PySide

Backend development using Django framework

JavaScript for frontend development

React for component-based user interface development

Next.js for full stack development (SSR, routing, API endpoints)

Source code and version control (Bitbucket / Git)

Communication Protocols:

• Serial (RS-232,422,485), Device Net, EtherCAT, Modbus, Digital

IO, Analog IO, TCP/IP Socket, VISA, SPI, FTDI.

Hardware Skills:

ATE, Data Acquisition using NI CDAQ and Beckhoff IOs, Electrical fundamentals (motion

control)

Knowledge of working with sensors (thermal, vibration, motion, pressure, etc.)

Knowledge of working with optical light sources (LEDs, lasers, optical sensors)

• Able to

handle software development projects with minimal supervision.

Exposure to manufacturing or lab-based test environments is a plus

Ancillary Skills

Experience: 4 - 6 years of relevant industry experience

Education: Masters or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/ Electronics/Computer Science

Engineering

Travel: Willing to travel domestic and international: 20-30%

Must: Male candidate required - 30% travel to Israel
