· The work

Own the target platform and data migration: provision Azure Database for PostgreSQL Flexible Server (zone-redundant HA), run the big-bang migration via Azure DMS, wire AKS/Key Vault connectivity, and drive the production cutover runbook and rollback plan.

Must have

5+ years database engineering with strong PostgreSQL administration

Hands-on Azure Database for PostgreSQL Flexible Server (HA, SKU/IOPS sizing, backups, maintenance windows)

Azure Database Migration Service (DMS) - has executed an offline/big-bang migration (Oracle source preferred), with row-count/LOB/sequence validation

Working Oracle knowledge (schema/type mapping)

AKS - ConfigMaps, Secrets, Kustomize, rolling redeploys

Azure networking - VNet integration, private endpoints, private DNS

Azure Key Vault + AKS (CSI Secret Store / synced secrets)
