Presales Manager, Security/Networking Onsite, Petaling Jaya

Job responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the presales process for security and networking solutions, including requirement gathering, solution design, and proposal development.
- Engage with clients to understand their business needs, technical requirements, and pain points, providing expert advice and tailored solutions.
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations, demonstrations, and proof-of-concept sessions to prospective customers.
- Collaborate with sales, technical, and product teams to develop winning strategies and ensure alignment with customer expectations.
- Respond to RFPs, RFIs, and tenders by creating comprehensive technical documentation and solution architectures.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings in cybersecurity and networking.
- Support post-sales transition by providing technical guidance and ensuring smooth handover to implementation teams.
- Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and vendors.
- Conduct market research and contribute to product development and enhancement initiatives.
- Train and mentor junior presales staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and excellence.
Job requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of presales experience in security and networking solutions, preferably within the IT or cybersecurity industry.
- Strong technical expertise in cybersecurity technologies (firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, SIEM, etc.) and networking (routing, switching, VPN, SD-WAN, etc.).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proven track record of developing and delivering successful proposals and technical solutions.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CCNP, CISSP, CEH, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco, etc.) are highly desirable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia is an advantage.
- Willingness to work onsite in Petaling Jaya and travel as required for client meetings.
