This job is all about:

• Working in autonomous, agile teams on ambitious, end-to-end projects, side by side with experienced developers,

• Implementing new features in Android applications for outstanding local and global brands,

• Creating user interfaces based on design systems prepared by our Product Designers,

• Integrating the app with server data sources under the guidance of senior team members,

• Writing tests for your code and taking part in code reviews – both getting feedback and learning to give it,

• Gradually taking more responsibility for the technical side of your projects,

• Taking part in preparing relevant project documentation.

Here's what we're looking for:

• At least 6 months of commercial experience in developing Android applications (an internship counts too),

• Good knowledge of Kotlin and the basics of Android development (app lifecycle, UI, architecture patterns such as MVVM),

• Understanding of how mobile apps communicate with a backend (REST API, JSON),

• Experience with Git,

• Good command of English, which will allow you to read specs and communicate with your team, eagerness to learn and openness to feedback – we invest in your growth, and we expect you to invest in it too,

• Great attention to detail, consistency, and accuracy,

• Creativity and proactiveness 

• Good ideas and constructive remarks are always welcome! 

Here's some of the tech you can come across on our projects:

• Experience with Jetpack Compose and Coroutines/Flow,

• your own app published on Google Play or projects on GitHub you can show us,

• a computer science or related degree (or studies in progress).

Here's some of the tech you can come across on our projects: Kotlin; MVVM; Kotlinx; Hilt; Coroutines+Flow; Jetpack: Compose, Navigation, Work, Paging etc; Retrofit, Apollo, Moshi; junit5, mockk; Room, SQLDelight, Kotlin Multiplatform, and in some older projects we used RxJava, databinding, and Hilt/Koin.

You don’t have to know it all – as a junior, you're not expected to. You will learn it step by step with the help of your mentor and experienced Future Mind colleagues. We create every project from scratch, and we get to use the newest, most reliable tech available every time, as we see fit.
