Salesforce Senior Developer

G MASS are partnering with a global fund services business to hire a Salesforce Developer into its growing platform team.

Salesforce sits at the centre of how the firm manages client relationships and service delivery, and the team is investing heavily in extending the platform across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Data Cloud, and Agentforce. This is a hands-on engineering role suited to someone who enjoys solving integration challenges and building solutions at enterprise scale, working closely with architecture, product, and business teams internationally. The position is permanent and offered on a hybrid basis.

Responsibilities:

• Build and enhance Salesforce functionality using Apex, LWC, and Visualforce, taking work from design through to production
• Develop client service capability within Service Cloud, particularly around case handling and workflow
• Deliver integrations connecting Salesforce with telephony, Data Cloud, and wider internal applications
• Own and improve deployment pipelines, test automation, and source control processes
• Work with the platform architect on solution design, keeping security and long-term maintainability front of mind
• Collaborate with product owners, BAs, and testers to shape requirements into deliverable technical work
• Take an active part in sprint ceremonies, peer code reviews, and technical design discussions
• Support testing cycles, releases, and any follow-up fixes once changes are live
• Monitor platform health and performance, delivering ongoing improvements and enhancements
• Assess new Salesforce features as they are released and help define engineering standards for the wider team

Requirements

• 5+ years of Salesforce development, ideally within a large or complex organisation
• Deep hands-on experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Lightning Web Components
• Strong Apex skills alongside API-based integration experience (REST and SOAP)
• Exposure to Data Cloud, with Agentforce or wider Salesforce AI experience a plus
• Good knowledge of governor limits, data modelling, and the Salesforce security model
• Contact centre integration experience (e.g. Amazon Connect, Genesys) and Einstein Analytics would be advantageous
• Comfortable working in Agile teams using DevOps tooling such as Gearset or Copado
• Clear communicator who documents well and works effectively across technical and business teams
• Platform Developer I or II certification preferred, with Service Cloud or Sales Cloud Consultant desirable
