The ideal person for this role will have experience working with clients within the SMB market and will have a good knowledge base on IT (servers, networks, desktops) that make these businesses thrive.

Primary duties for this role will include serving as a liaison between clients and internal GadellNet teams, maintaining strong relationships, and achieving defined goals. This is an account management role with consultative selling.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience: 2-5 years in account management, client success, or consultative sales. Experience in an IT consulting or Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment is strongly preferred.
  • Technical Acumen: Baseline knowledge of IT infrastructure (servers, networks, cloud) with the ability to translate technical concepts into plain-English business value.
  • Relationship Building: Proven ability to build trusted, long-term relationships with SMB clients and executive-level decision-makers.
  • Communication: Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills with a natural ability to build rapport.
  • Conflict Resolution: Strong issue-management skills; confident in engaging the right internal resources to strategically resolve challenges.
  • Adaptability: Highly detail-oriented and organized; thrives under pressure and adapts quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Information Technology, or a related field (equivalent experience considered).

Responsibilities

  • Onboarding & Lifecycle: Manage the client onboarding process from contract signing to operational handoff.
  • Strategic Mindset: Partner with clients to build IT roadmaps, budgets, forecasts, and asset management plans.
  • Account Growth: Identify opportunities and sell transformative IT solutions that drive business value for clients.
  • Business Reviews: Conduct 100% of Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) for all Silver and Gold tier clients.
  • Cross-Functional Liaison: Act as the primary bridge between clients, operations, and engineering to ensure business-IT alignment and high customer satisfaction.
  • Retention & Renewals: Own client retention, contract renewals, price increases, and service level (SLA) tracking.
  • Issue Resolution: Partner with the service delivery team to manage escalations, resolve trouble tickets, and develop "Handle with Care" plans for at-risk clients.
  • Administration: Manage daily administrative tasks including invoice approval, ticket management, and client documentation.
