Senior Software Engineer

We are looking for a highly skilled and hands-on Senior Java Developer who is passionate about coding and building scalable, high-performance applications. In this role, you will be actively involved in designing, developing, and maintaining robust backend systems. Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality Java-based applications.

• Participate actively in coding, code reviews, and debugging complex issues.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including frontend developers, QA, and product managers.
• Optimise application performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Contribute to architecture and technical design discussions.
• Ensure adherence to security and data protection standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Java development with strong hands-on coding expertise.
• Proficiency in Core Java, OOP concepts, and design patterns.
• Experience with frameworks such as Spring Boot, Spring MVC, or Hibernate.
• Strong experience in building REST APIs and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
• Experience with version control tools like Git.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and build tools like Maven or Gradle.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
