Application Support Engineer (m/f/x)

Your Responsibilities in Our Team

• You will independently handle first- and second-level support and serve as the main point of contact for our customers regarding incidents, questions, and suggestions for improvement.
• You will independently analyze and process requests through our ticketing system, document solutions in a clear and traceable manner, and escalate technical issues as needed.
• You will work closely with the development team to identify the root causes of issues and coordinate fixes through to communicating the resolution back to customers.
• You will plan and carry out functional and performance tests and contribute to software quality assurance.
• You will improve support workflows, automation, and deployment processes, and evaluate where new tools and AI can provide meaningful support.

What We Expect from You

• You have at least 3 years of experience in software support, ideally gained within a team of at least 3 people.
• You have hands-on experience in first- and second-level support and approach technical problems analytically and with a strong customer-service mindset.
• You have solid technical expertise, preferably in networks, operating systems (Microsoft), and databases (Oracle, MSSQL).
• Knowledge of DevOps topics such as CI/CD, deployment, and monitoring is an advantage.
• You have completed relevant education or training in IT, software, or a production-related field (technical college, university of applied sciences, or university).
• You are a team player who works independently, reliably, and with a solution-oriented mindset, while maintaining an overview even under pressure.
• You have excellent German and good English skills.

For legal reasons, we state here the minimum basic salary based on the IT collective agreement of € €3.957,00 gross per month (14 times p.a.) for full-time employment. For this position, we offer an attractive salary commensurate with your qualifications, skills and experience.
