Product Manager: Cards Scheme & Usage

The Product Manager - Cards Scheme & Usage will be responsible for driving card usage growth and maximizing the value of GCash card products through strong scheme partnerships and customer-focused strategies. This role owns product performance, helps drive profitability, and ensures features, rewards, and campaigns improve customer engagement and payment adoption.

You will be responsible for the following:

• Define and execute product strategy focused on increasing card usage, engagement, and customer stickiness.

• Own the card product P&L by optimizing revenue streams such as interchange and scheme-funded rewards.

• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities that improve share of wallet and customer experience.

• Partner with internal growth teams to design and execute A/B testing and in-app campaigns to drive adoption and active usage.

• Analyze user feedback and behavioral data to guide product improvements and prioritization.

• Act as the main liaison with card schemes (e.g., Visa, Mastercard) to maximize incentives, rewards, and partnership opportunities.

• Drive integration of scheme-supported rewards, loyalty programs, and co-brand initiatives.

• Ensure compliance with scheme requirements and timely adoption of network solutions and promotional initiatives.

• Lead go-to-market plans for new card features and rewards programs in partnership with Marketing, Sales, Operations, and Customer Support.

We are looking for:

• 3-5 years of Product Management experience, preferably within FinTech, Payments, or Banking.

• Strong understanding of card payments lifecycle, card economics, and product growth strategies.

• Experience working with card schemes such as Visa or Mastercard.

• Strong analytical mindset with experience using data to drive product decisions.

• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills.

• Experience working in Agile environments with strong prioritization skills.

Nice to have:

• Experience in loyalty, rewards, or co-branded card programs.

• Exposure to BNPL or credit products.

• Experience in a regulated banking or EMI environment.

• SQL proficiency.
