The Manufacturing Engineering Trainee at GE Aerospace will gain hands-on experience in manufacturing processes, supporting the development and implementation of efficient and robust manufacturing solutions for aerospace components. Job Responsibilities:
-Participate in the development and management of manufacturing processes, including work instructions and operation sheets
-Conduct time studies and analyze manufacturing data to identify areas for improvement in efficiency and cost reduction.
-Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design engineering, quality, and supply chain, to resolve manufacturing challenges.
-Perform root cause analysis for manufacturing issues and propose corrective actions.
-Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing principles.
Job Qualifications:
-Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
-Basic understanding of manufacturing processes
-Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) is a plus.
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
-Written and verbal communication skills.
-Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
-Strong desire to learn and grow within the manufacturing engineering discipline.
-Language requirements: Czech - native, English - B1
