Roles and Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of complex software systems across multiple components
• Define technical approach and influence architectural decisions
• Drive system-level design ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability
• Lead cross-team collaboration and align engineering efforts with product goals
• Establish engineering best practices, coding standards, and design guidelines
• Review design and code across teams to ensure quality and consistency
• Mentor engineers across teams and contribute to organization-wide capability building
• Handle ambiguous and high-impact technical problems
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across teams and systems

Quality Specific Goals:

• Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position
• Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines
• Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required
• Support compliance/closure of Regulatory and Quality requirements before completing Design Outputs/Program Deliverables
• Participate in continuous improvement activities by identifying and appropriately escalating process and product quality gaps, providing solutions when possible

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 12~15 years of experience in software development.
• Experience in software development, lifecycle and testing methodologies.
• Strong experience in object-oriented design methodology and programming languages, including C++, C#, or similar
• Experience in application development, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Business-level English communication skills for global collaboration

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in computer science, Engineering or related computer field
• Experience in application development using modern frameworks and development tools
• Experience in integrating AI/ML models into applications.
• Experience with API development and system integration
• Experience with UI frameworks (WPF, Qt).
• Experience in microservices or modular architecture
• Experience in Git-based collaboration workflows
• Fluent English communication skills (written and verbal)
