Essential Responsibilities

• Provides technical expertise and develops technical solutions (configuration, performance estimation, economics, etc.) as part of the Technical Tendering process while interfacing with the commercial team. Possesses a deep understanding of relevant markets and customer economic value that aid winning bid strategies.
• Analysis of client need, his specification and applicable standard: definition and optimization of the products; scope (description); schedule; industrial scheme; cost-benefit, considering contract and internal policies and procedures. Evaluation of plant, system and equipment performance and efficiency. Documentation of technical specifications & costing elements for further contract execution phases. Definition of BoQ (Bill of Quantities), RFQ (Request for Quotation) and analysis of technical offers from suppliers and contractors.
• Resolves issues using established procedures and provide instructions/parameters for different issues and challenges;
• Collaborates with others to solve issues. For customer facing roles, develops strong customer relationships and serves as the interface between Customer and GE Vernova. Exchanges technical information, asking questions and checks for understanding.
• Developing in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline. Uses prior experience and acquired technical expertise to execute policy/strategy.
• In-depth understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. In-depth understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.
• Uses some level of judgment and has ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters. Uses prior experience and on-the-job training to solve straightforward tasks. Has access to technical skills and analytic thinking required to solve problems. May use multiple internal sources outside of own team to arrive at decisions.
• A job at this level is likely to be an individual contributor with proven interpersonal skills. Provides informal guidance to new team members
• Applies general knowledge of business developed through education or past experience. Understands how work of own team contributes to the area.

Required Qualification

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Electrical Engineering;
• Experience in substation projects, technical coordination of interfaces and subcontractors, technical analysis of the design/drawings/projects;
• This role requires advanced experience in the Engineering of HV Substations;
• Advanced English level to analyze documents, elaborate technical offers and lead technical discussions with Customers and colleagues;
• Advanced knowledge of Office Package;
• Availability to travel (1-2 times per month);

Desired Characteristics

• Past experience in Customer Application Engineering, elaborating technical offers;
• Strong oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Established project management skills.
• Intermediate Spanish level is desirable.
• Knowledge of Auto Cad
