Roles and Responsibilities
Develop, qualify and industrialise repair processes using industrial robotics technologies, including transferring new and updated processes to repair facilities.
Programme and operate industrial robotic systems to deploy special processes within Repair Engineering.
Support the integration of ancillary equipment and components with robotic control systems.
Apply technical knowledge and previous experience to execute repair-development strategies and deliver programme objectives.
Understand key business drivers and how the work of the team integrates with other functions and contributes to broader organisational objectives.
Use technical judgment to evaluate and propose solutions outside established parameters.
Apply prior experience and on-the-job learning to resolve complex technical issues.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and internal stakeholders to make informed decisions and achieve technical goals.
Provide informal technical guidance and knowledge sharing to new team members.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Automation, Mechatronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering or a related discipline from a recognised university.
Relevant experience in engineering, technology, repair development or a related technical environment.
Practical knowledge of industrial robotic systems, including programming and operation.
Experience in repair-process development, process qualification or industrialisation.
Ability to analyse technical issues and develop practical solutions.
Desired Characteristics
Knowledge of automation or electrical engineering, particularly the integration of ancillary equipment with robotic control systems.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
