Engineering Manager - RF Engineering

We have an exciting opportunity for an Engineering Manager to join the RF/Antenna Engineering group. The successful candidate will lead a small team of talented RF engineers engaged in the development of antennas and antenna systems supporting a variety of programs. Major areas include functional leadership, mentoring and oversight, process development and enforcement, interfacing with program management and senior leadership.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of RF engineers and technologists focused on innovative solutions.
• Collaborate closely with program managers to maintain engineering support of a wide variety of active projects.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement through training, performance management, and cross-departmental collaboration.
• Develop and refine processes to ensure engineering rigor, design review, and proper documentation.
• Lead the evaluation of software tools and test equipment.
• Participate in the development of new business opportunities and expansion of existing business opportunities.
• Develop proposal content such as technical volumes and cost volumes.
• Serve as the primary technical liaison with senior management, regulatory bodies, external partners, and suppliers.
• Present project progress, strategic opportunities, and risk assessments to various stakeholders, ensuring transparent communication and effective decision-making.
• Perform as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for company-wide RF-related concerns.
• Perform as an individual contributor as required.
