MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT:

As an Earned Value Management Analyst Principal/Project Scheduler, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of USSTRATCOM. USSTRATCOM is a Combatant Command responsible for strategic deterrence, nuclear operations, and enterprise IT services essential to national security. It oversees Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3), Joint Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (JEMSO), Global Strike, and Missile Threat Assessments, working closely with other Combatant Commands, Services, and defense agencies. SCITLS will be a key component that will ensure mission success and the safety of the U.S. and its allies by providing 24/7 IT services and network support for NIPRNet, SIPRNet, JWICS, and SAP/SAR environment.

You will play a crucial role in providing support in the following areas:

• tDevelop project schedules using industry standard best practices
• tStatus and maintain project schedules with the project team on a weekly cadence
• tPrepare bi-weekly performance reports
• tIdentify resource over/under allocations. Lead the Monthly Resource Over/Under Allocation Forecast Meetings, explain the allocation issues, document and implement the conflict resolution into the project schedules.
• tEvaluate and analyze project timelines, performance metrics, actual costs, and tasks associated with successful project completion.
• tAssist leads in developing ROM cost estimates
• tEstablish and maintain communication with main project stakeholders.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

• tBS degree; may be substituted for additional years of experience
• t8+ years of project scheduling experience
• tSecurity Clearance Level: Secret
• tRequired Certifications: ITIL 4 Foundation certified within 9 months of start;
• tLocation: REMOTE
• tUnderstanding of project management concepts (scope, schedule, cost, risk)
• tExpertise with scheduling tools such as Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, SSI Tools
• tStrong communication, organization, and analytical skills
• tAbility to work collaboratively and contribute to a team-oriented environment

The likely salary range for this position is $97,968 - $132,250. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
