Customer Delivery Lead - 12-Month Contract
Drive Customer Service Excellence
We’re looking for a proactive Customer Delivery Lead to lead the customer service experience at General Mills. Based at Mt Waverley, this 12-month fixed-term role will oversee order fulfilment across three temperature channels and local transport execution, ensuring DIFOT +97% while balancing efficiency and cost.
You’ll work with customers, 3PLs and internal teams to manage service risks, improve processes and support supply chain projects through data-led problem solving and proactive communication.

Your Impact
As Customer Delivery Lead, you will:
- Lead end-to-end order fulfilment across three temperature channels and retail and channel customers, ensuring accurate execution and DIFOT +97%.
- Manage local transport execution, including invoice validation, planning and optimisation to deliver on-time and in full whilst balancing cost.
- Track Customer Service KPIs, including Delivery Malfunctions and Returns/Refusals, leading root cause analysis, corrective actions and provider claims.
- Build strong relationships with customers, 3PLs, Warehouse and Transport teams and internal stakeholders to manage service and deliver cost and efficiency outcomes.
- Use data and continuous improvement to simplify and digitalize processes and reduce manual effort across Customer Service and Logistics teams.
- Act as a key contact for customers and business functions, leading events such as transitions and tenders and support ad-hoc projects.
What You Bring
Experience:
- 5 years+ experience in customer service, order management or supply chain/logistics, ideally within FMCG.
- Experience managing order fulfilment, logistics processes, 3PL providers and external stakeholders.
- A track record of supporting operational projects, transitions, tenders, replenishment strategies and process improvement initiatives.
- People leadership capability is desirable, with SAP and Road Runner experience highly regarded.
Skills & mindset:
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify root causes, apply corrective actions and improve service, cost and efficiency.
- Confident managing multiple priorities, deadlines and changing circumstances.
- Strong communication and influencing skills across customers, 3PLs, carriers and internal teams.
- Proactive and continuous-improvement mindset, with an interest in simplifying processes and identifying digitalisation opportunities.
- Strong attention to detail, intermediate Microsoft Office skills and a collaborative team approach.

- Education: Tertiary qualification in Logistics or Supply Chain Management is advantageous.
- Location: Mt Waverley, VIC.
- Employment: 12-month fixed-term contract.
