Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of assigned RtR activities in line with defined deadlines.
- Process financial transactions, including Journal Entries, Fixed Assets postings and bank statement accounting.
- Perform Balance Sheet reconciliations, investigate discrepancies and ensure timely resolution of outstanding items.
- Manage Intercompany accounting activities, including AP invoices, AR invoices, ICR balance reconciliation and netting settlements.
- Prepare Balance Sheet and Income Statement reporting in Cognos.
- Perform month-end closing activities and ensure compliance with internal control requirements.
- Prepare daily, periodic and ad-hoc reports and analyses.
- Cooperate closely with Business Partners and other teams to resolve accounting-related issues.
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of process documentation.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives and support ongoing projects within the RtR area.
Our Requirements:
- Educational background in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Controlling.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting within an SSC/BPO environment, including at least 1 year of experience in RtR/General Ledger.
- Good understanding of accounting principles and month-end closing activities.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- English, written and spoken, at minimum B2 level.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proactive approach and problem-solving mindset.
- Ability to work effectively under deadlines and during busy closing periods.
- Knowledge of SAP will be a strong asset.
- Experience in process transitions and/or process improvements will be an advantage.
