Entry Level Accountant

We're partnering with a well-established organization that is looking for an Entry-Level Accountant to join its growing finance team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on accounting experience in a supportive environment where you'll receive training and mentorship while building a strong foundation in accounting.

Responsibilities:

• Process high-volume accounts payable transactions
• Review invoices and ensure accurate GL coding
• Maintain vendor records and assist with W-9 and 1099 compliance
• Generate checks and supporting payment documentation
• Research and resolve invoice and payment discrepancies
• Reconcile A/P aging reports
• Assist with journal entries and month-end close activities
• Work closely with internal departments to answer accounting-related questions
• Support audits and other accounting projects as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting (or graduating soon)
• Strong understanding of debits and credits
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Eager to learn and grow within an accounting career
• Positive attitude and willingness to take initiative
• Previous accounting experience is a plus but not required-comprehensive training will be provided.
